JKM utilises various sources of feedback for food aid distribution

PUTRAJAYA: The Social Welfare Department (JKM) utilises various sources of complaint and reference to manage its food aid distribution during Movement Control Order (MCO).

The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry, in a statement today said the department has been assigned to manage food aid distribution to those in need, especially individuals who lost their daily income and faced difficulties to obtain food supply.

The distribution is based on various complaint sources and references such as the individual's direct complaint to a district social welfare office, community leaders' reference and complaints to state's operations room as well as Talian Kasih at 15999, said the ministry.

"Every application will be reviewed and verified by JKM.

"The distribution would be carried out with help of the People's Volunteer Corps (RELA), Civil Defence Force (APM) and local leaders," the statement said.
