KUALA LUMPUR: Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz has been appointed as a member of the Umno supreme council.
His appointment came during the Umno supreme council meeting at Menara Dato Onn, according to a tweet by Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan on Thursday night (Feb 16).
“The Umno supreme council meeting tonight started with senator Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz taking the oath as an Umno supreme council member after being appointed by the president (Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi),” he tweeted.
