KOTA KINABALU: A pedestrian, in his 50s, was killed after he was hit by two vehicles while crossing a road in Tenom on Thursday (Jan 12).
The Fire and Rescue Department received a report at 8.46pm alerting the fatal accident along Jalan Tenom – Keningau.
The victim was crossing the road when he was struck by the first vehicle and ended up lying in the middle of the road.
The second incoming car was unable to avoid him and hit him as well.
“The victim was confirmed dead at the scene by a health officer on duty,” said a Fire and Rescue Department spokesman.
