Pakatan to discuss Muda’s application to join coalition on Sept 21

PETALING JAYA: The application from Malaysian United Democratic Alliance’s (Muda) to join Pakatan Harapan will be discussed by the coalition’s leadership on Wednesday (Sept 21).

It was learnt that Muda’s application would be among the matters to be brought up during the Pakatan presidential council meeting at PKR headquarters at 3pm.

“Yes, Muda’s application is among the agenda of Wednesday’s meeting,” DAP national organising secretary Steven Sim said when contacted on Tuesday (Sept 20).

Last Saturday, PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli said that Muda’s application to join Pakatan would have to go through the process with the presidential council.

He added that whatever the decision made by the presidential council on the matter would not affect the ongoing discussion on seat distribution among Pakatan parties.

Pakatan is expected to finalise a full list of seats for PKR, DAP, Parti Amanah Negara and Upko to contest by Sept 30.
