Negri MB joins PKR vice-presidency race

SEREMBAN: Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun (pic) will contest the PKR vice-presidency in the coming party polls.

State PKR secretary Muhammad Nazri Kassim said both Melaka party chief Halim Bachik and he had proposed and seconded Aminuddin for the post.

“Yes, both of us have supported his candidacy,” he said.

On Sunday, Aminuddin told reporters he would also be contesting the top post in the Port Dickson division, which is currently held by state PKR deputy chief Datuk M. Ravi.

Aminuddin – who was previously the Tampin division chief – moved his membership to Port Dickson in January.

Both Aminuddin and Ravi, who is also the Deputy Speaker of the State Assembly are into their third term as assemblymen for Sikamat and Sri Tanjung respectively.
