MELAKA: Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun turns a state-level Chinese New Year open house lively when he distributed “ang pao” to thousands of locals who attended the event organised by Melaka PKR, here.
Attendees of the event on Sunday night (Feb 12) were delighted and rushed to the table where Aminuddin started distributing the red packets.
The event, which was held inside a hall at a private vernacular Secondary school in the city centre, was also attended by Science, Technology and Innovation Chang Lih Kang also distributed the red packets.
Melaka Barisan Nasional chief Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Jusoh and state DAP chairman Datuk Tey Kok Kiew were among the dignitaries who attended the event.
Senior political secretary to the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin was also present.
Shamsul Iskandar was also surrounded by the locals who grasped the opportunity to take a selfie with him.
