Malaysia to hold bilateral meetings with three South American countries

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will hold bilateral meetings with Venezuela, Colombia and Chile on Wednesday (March 23).

Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, who is in Uruguay to attend the XXIV Ordinary Assembly of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC), said he chaired the Malaysia delegation’s pre-council meeting ahead of the LACAC on Tuesday (March 22).

“With me are Malaysia Civil Aviation Authority (CAAM) chairman Tan Sri Mohd Khairul Adib Abd Rahman, Malaysia’s Ambassador to Argentina Nur Azman Abdul Rahim, Transport Ministry aviation undersecretary Mohamad Radzuan Mazlan, International Civil Aviation Organization permanent representative Flora Chin Lee Sa, and CAAM quality and standards director Captain Md Jani Md Dom.

“Our first bilateral meeting on March 23 will be with Venezuela, followed by Colombia and Chile,” he said.
