JOHOR BARU: Careful monitoring and planning have been put in place to ensure that the reopening of the border with Singapore on Friday (April 1) runs smoothly, says Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi (pic).

The Johor Mentri Besar said the state government would continue making the best preparations for the reopening of the border with the help of the Federal Government.

“I thank all parties and agencies involved for their hard work to make the border reopening a success,” he said in a Facebook post here Sunday (March 27).

On March 8, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri announced that Malaysia will reopen its borders to international travellers starting April 1.
