GE15: Education remains top on development agenda for Pahang, says Dr Wee

PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional candidates will ensure that education remains top on its development agenda for Pahang, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

The MCA president said Barisan would make every effort in that direction if Pahang voters give their mandate in the upcoming 15th General Election.

“I assure you that Barisan representatives, whether in the Kuantan or the nearby Indera Mahkota parliamentary seats, will make every effort to ensure that education development continues to be given full attention, if Barisan candidates are given a mandate from the voters and subsequently form the Federal Government and state government in Pahang,” he said on his Facebook on Sunday (Oct 30).

Earlier, Dr Wee was delivering his speech at SM Chong Hwa’s school anniversary and fund-raising dinner for its school building foundation in Kuantan.

Dr Wee also congratulated the school’s board of director’s chairman Tan Sri Pheng Yin Huah for his efforts and successfully overcoming various challenges while developing the school.

Also present was Datuk Seri Ab. Hamid Nazahar who represented Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.
