The Elder Scrolls: Blades Now Available For Free On Nintendo Switch

Bethesda has officially taken The Elder Scrolls: Blades out of Early Access for mobile devices. At the same time, the publisher had also announced that the free-to-play game is available to download on the Nintendo Switch console as well.

The game first made its Early Access debut on both Android and iOS devices last year on 27 March, although it never saw a release in Malaysian – even now. That said, it is possible for Switch owners to snag the game from the Nintendo eShop as long as they have a Nintendo account.

In conjunction with the game exiting Early Access, Bethesda has released six new quests which includes a story arc seeing the player working their way up to face the Grand Champion. Other than that, the PvP leaderboards have also been reset and will offer players additional rewards from here on out.

As mentioned earlier, The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a free-to-play title. However, like every “free” game (and by Bethesda nonetheless), there will be an option for real money transactions to purchase in-game currencies and other items.

Those who wish to start off the game with extra currency and building materials can opt for the Quick Start Edition, priced at US$14.99 (~RM65). That, or you can just buy The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim for the Switch instead.
