GoCar Partners Up With Shell To Provide Free Car Access And Petrol To Frontliners

GoCar has announced that it is partnering up with oil and petrol company Shell, in an effort to provide free cars and petrol vouchers, primarily for frontliners, in need of a car for the remainder of the Movement Control Order (MCO). On that note, customers may drive the cars for up to a week anytime when they book it between now and 14 April.

In order to redeem your free GoCar for and Petrol voucher for a week, you’ll first need to fill in a simple Google-based verification form and provide the relevant documents. Once verified, you’ll receive a GoCar promotional code via email worth RM483, for you to redeem. After that, simply download the official GoCar app on to your phone, register yourself, and wait for the approval.

Upon approval, book a car via the app and with the promo code. Then, head over to the participating Shell station to pick up your car. On that note, once you’ve booked the car, the corresponding Shell Fuel Voucher worth RM30 will be emailed over to you once you’ve begun your trip.

Again, this service is prioritised for frontliners, which include doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and medical waste workers, to name a few. So, don’t think you can pull a fast on GoCar, especially since the relevant documentation required includes a medical license, employee ID, or probationary letter.
