Apple Rolls Out Massive Update for Logic Pro X: Includes New Live Loops and Step Sequencer

There are plenty of musicians throughout the world that utilize Apple products as part of their tools. This is not limited to its hardware such as Mac and MacBook but also software such as the Logic Pro digital audio workstation (DAW).

Even though Logic Pro X was actually launched back in 2013, Apple has just released another new update for it which brings together tons of features and contents for musicians to take advantage. One such feature that comes with the newly released Logic Pro X 10.5 is Live Loops which was adapted from Apple GarageBand but tuned for professional users.

This particular feature allows users to craft music by triggering loops, samples, and audio recordings that are being positioned in a grid arrangement. In addition to that, there is also a new editor called Step Sequencer that can be used to compose drumbeats, bass lines, and melody through an interface that was based on classic drum machines and synthesizers.

The Logic Pro X 10.5 release note also stated that there are more than 2,500 new loops have been provided for the DAW alongside more than 70 new Drum Machine Designer kits, and 1,500 new patches. Meanwhile, existing Logic Pro X are able to get the download for free while new users can get the professional-level DAW for RM 799.90 in Malaysia or they can try out Logic Pro X first for 90-days without any charges.
