Acer Spin 3 2020 Finally Arrives In Malaysia: A 10th Gen Intel Core Convertible with Wacom-Based Stylus

First announced at CES 2020, this convertible device was supposed to land in our shores back in March. But after the COVID-19 pandemic affected its journey to our market, the Acer Spin 3 2020 has finally made its way to Malaysia this week.

Said to be slimmer than previous iterations, the Spin 3 2020 weights around 1.5kg and has a thickness of 16.9mm. The convertible is also equipped with a 14-inch Full HD IPS touch display with 7.82mm bezels that gave it a screen-to-body ratio of 78%.

Comes standard with Acer Active Stylus which utilizes Wacom AES 1.0 technology, it provides users with 4,096 level of sensitivity for accuracy and is also equipped with 2 configurable buttons. To charge it, all users need to do is put it back into the stylus’ storage slot that is located on right side of the new Spin 3.

Equipped with 512GB PCIe NVMe solid state drive as standard, the Acer Spin 3 2020 with Intel Core i3-1005G1 and 4GB of RAM is priced at RM 2,799 while the variant with Intel Core i5-1035G1 and 8GB of RAM goes for RM 3,299.

Available for order immediately, Acer is offering Redmi Airdots Wireless Earbuds for the Core i3 model to early bird customers that purchased the new convertible through its Acer Malaysia’s official internal storefront and Shopee store. For customers that prefer Core i5 variant, they will receive an Acer Wireless Slim Mouse, Acer USB 2.0 Portable DVD Writer, and Predator Cap instead.

Under this launch promotion which will last until 15 May, both variants will also be accompanied by Urbanista Sydney Bluetooth speaker, Acer Urban Entry Backpack, and Acer Supercare 2 extended warranty which inclusive of 3-year onsite warranty as well as  accidental damage and theft protection.
