Xiaomi today has unveiled a huge number of new smart home products in Malaysia including its TV A2 Series. First launched for the global market back in June, the new Android TV line-up is available in three different sizes for our market including 32, 43, and 58-inches.
Powered by a Cortex A55 quad-core CPU with Mali G52 MP2 GPU alongside 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the 58-inch model offer a 4K panel with a 60Hz refresh rate. With DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage of 90%, the new smart TV is able to support HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision contents.
For 43 and 32-inches models, they are powered by the same A55-based CPU but with a Mali G31 MP2 GPU instead. Furthermore, the 43 and 32-inches variants also have been equipped with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
At the same time, the 43-inch variant carries a Full HD panel as opposed to having 4K resolution as per global specs while the resolution of the 32-inch model is limited to HD although both of them still have a 60Hz refresh rate.
Regardless of the size that you choose, all Xiaomi TV A2 Series models feature a unibody metal chassis as well as a bezel-less screen. They also come with a pair of 10W speakers with Dolby Audio enhancements as well as DTS-HD for the 58-inch variant together with DTS-X, and DTS Virtual: X Sound enhancements for the lower-end models.
Being Android TV products, all Xiaomi TV A2 models also have access to Google Play which allows users to download additional apps for the smart TV. Similarly, they can also utilize Google Assistant on them as well as have control over other Xiaomi smart home products through the Xiaomi Home app.
When it comes to pricing, the 58-inch A2 costs RM2,799 while the 43 and 32-inches variants can be obtained for RM1,299 and RM999, respectively. As part of their launch on 9 September, customers will be provided with a free 23.8-inch Mi Desktop Monitor 1C with each 58-inch A2 TV.
On the other hand, the 43-inch will be launched at a discounted price of RM1099. However, the release date for the 32-inch model is not yet known for now but nevertheless, it will be made available at a discounted price tag ofRM799.
