Samsung Malaysia today launched its new 2023 Neo OLED TV lineup. First unveiled at CES 2023 earlier this year, the new TVs comprise many models within the 4K and 8K categories.
Within the 8K Neo QLED TV range, the hero product is undoubtedly the 85-inch QN900C. Retailing at RM43,699, the TV comes with all the trappings and viewing luxuries warranted by Samsung, including the new bezel-less Infinity Display that blends right into whichever wall it is mounted on; Dolby Atmos support for a more immersive experience with your movies and shows; Auto HDR Remastering; Real Depth Enhance Pro; and Freesync Premium Pro for gamers that wish to game on the big screen. To name a few of the features.
Another interesting feature of the 85-inch Neo QLED QN900C is the way its speakers are integrated into the monitor. Specifically, they are built directly into the side of the TV’s frame and you can see the speaker grille if you get up close to it.
The Neo QLED 8K TVs are already available for purchase and as part of Samsung’s launch promotion, anyone who purchases the 85-inch QN900C model will receive the HW-Q990C Q-Series Soundbar worth RM6,499, for free. There are also the 75-inch and 65-inch 8K TV under the same group, and they retail for RM28,699 and RM21,699, respectively. Because they are also part of the launch promotion, both TV models come bundled with a HW-Q930C Q-Series soundbar worth RM4,999.
Lastly, there are the QN800C and QN700C sub-series within the Neo QLED TV lineup. These TVs are also 8K TVs, and the QN800C retails for RM32699 and comes with a HW-Q8000C soundbar worth RM3999. As for the QN700C series, the lineup comes with both 65-inch and 75-inch sizes, with an SRP of RM15,199 and RM18,199 respectively. Both models also come with a free HW-Q700C soundbar worth RM2,999 for the duration of the launch promotion.
Moving down the line, there is also the NEO QLED 4K TV range that comprises three lineups: the QN95C, QN85C, and Q80C. Under the first lineup, the TVs come in sizes of 55-inches, 65-inches, 75-inches, and 85-inches. Price-wise, they retail from RM11,199 for the 55-inch, RM13,399 for the 65-inch, RM19,199 for the 75-inch, and RM24,199 for the 85-inch. All models come bundled with a HW-Q600C worth RM2,599, for the duration of the launch promotion.
As for the NEO QLED QN85C, the lineup comes in sizes of 65-inches, 75-inches, and 85-inches. Pricing starts at RM9,599 for the 65-inch, RM13,599 for the 75-inch, and RM18,599 for the 85-inch, and they come bundled with the same soundbar as the QN95C models.
Finally, there is the Neo QLED Q80C series, which also comes in three sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch. Pricing starts at RM5,999 for the 55-inch, RM7,199 for the 65-inch, and RM11,199 for the 75-inch. As for the soundbar they come with in conjunction with the launch promotion, it is the HW-B650, which is worth RM1,499.
