HMD Global officially launched its second tablet under the Nokia brand, the T10. The device is the latest entry to the entry-level T-series and is positioned at an even more affordable price point than its first tablet launched late last year, the T20.
Specs-wise, the tablet sports an 8-inch 1280×800 display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and has no biometric scanner for unlocking, though it does offer face unlock while wearing a mask using the front camera. It is also rated at IPX2 for water resistance, meaning it can handle light splashes but it is probably best to keep it from rain.
Moving on, the Nokia T10 runs on a Unisoc T606 and depending on the region, is equipped with either 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It also has a MicroSD slot that supports up to 512GB of expandable storage.
Powering the tablet is a large 5250mAh battery that Nokia claims allows it to last all day, but on the downside, it only charges at a speed of 10W with the included charger. As for cameras, it has an 8MP shooter on the back and a 2MP selfie camera up front, which does not sound great for video calls.
Shipping with Android 12, Nokia is promising two years of OS upgrades for the T10 along with three years of regular security patches. The tablet comes with a Wi-Fi-only version as well as a variant with a SIM card slot for 4G support.
Shipping out in August, the Nokia T10 is being priced at US$169.99 (~RM755) for the 4GB+64GB model in the US and £129 (~RM680) for the 3GB+32GB model in the UK. These are the prices for the LTE version while according to 9to5google, the Wi-Fi model costs US$159 (~RM706). Nokia has not revealed if the T10 will be coming to Malaysia.
