Jabra Launches New Evolve2 65 Flex And Speak2 75

Jabra today officially launched its new Evolve2 headphones and Speak2 conference speakers today. The new range of audio products was, as the brand puts it, made as 80% of the world changed their working habits and mode, either going fully virtual or adopting a hybrid between working from home and the office, due to the pandemic.

In total, Jabra showed off a total of six products today, with three SKUs divided amongst two product lines: Evolve2 and Speak2. With the Evolve2, the lineup includes the Evolve2 65 Flex, 50, and 55, while the Speak2 is represented by the Speak2 40, 55, and 75.

The hero product for the Evolve2 is obviously the 65 Flex which comes with several features. In terms of features, the 65 Flex utilises 28mm drivers in each earcup and comes with Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Other features include a boom-arm style microphone that allows you to fold it back when not needed and brought down when you’re going to talk shop or business.

The Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex can also be connected to two devices at the same time and by that, the brand means that you can have it plugged into your laptop while having it connected to your phone via Bluetooth.

Other features of the Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex include access to Jabra Sound+ which enhances the overall audio experience. As for battery life, the brand says that the headset is able to provide up to 32 hours of listening time with the ANC turned off, and up to 21 hours with the feature turned on.

The Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex retails for RM1880, while the Evolve2 55 and 50 both retail for RM1580 and RM1180, respectively.

Moving on to the Jabra Speak2 conference speaker range, the SKU leading the charge is the Speak2 75 As a quick primer, conference speakers are usually found in meeting rooms but again, because of the change in the working space, the brand believes that many workers are more comfortable taking work calls in their home.

Getting back to the Jabra Speak2 75, the conference speaker features four beamforming, noise-cancelling microphones backed by noise-reduction technology, that should provide clear conversation, at least from your end. Oddly enough, it is also IP64-rated for dust and spill protection, although it is a bit odd that a conference speaker would have to be fitted with this protection. Probably from feisty toddlers and the occasional glass-filled-with-water spillage scenarios.

The Jabra Speak2 75 is also a wireless conference speaker and on a full charge, it can run up to 32 hours continuously. Further, it boasts plug-and-play use and is designed to work with both Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

The Jabra Speak2 75 retails at RM2380, while the Speake2 55 and 40 conference speakers will retail at RM1180 and RM1080, respectively
